7/15/2005 Ricardo Miranda, NFFE 1450 Vice President, was able to win an immediate promotion of two grade levels and thousands of dollars in back pay and interest for a Union member in a career- ladder program.
The LA MF employee, Jennifer Ngo, had been unfairly denied promotions for three consecutive years without due process.
The issue was handled through the regular grievance process. The deciding official was MF Manager James Sam (retired Dec 2005).
