NFFE 1450 News  NFFE National responds to HUD management exception to "smiley face email" arbitrator decision9/25/2007HUD Management filed exception to Arbitrator's award (Smiley Face Email Arbitration) on July 27, 2007. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developement filed an exception (an appeal) to the Federal Labor Relations Authority challenging Arbitrator Sylvia Marks-Barnett's June 28, 2007 decision regarding the reprimand issued against NFFE 1450 President Elizabeth McDargh for "innappropriate conduct". NFFE National filed a response (opposition to Agency exceptions to decision) on September 25, 2007. The FLRA will now rule on the matter. |
